Another MERMAID MOON in JUNE children’s coloring contest for 2023…ENDED 7-01-23!

Hello to young readers, coloring artists and their families! Our MERMAID MOON in JUNE 2023 contest has now concluded for children (ages 5-13 years old) in the continental USA for some early summer fun! Sadly, no entries were submitted as of June 30 at 11:59 PM and so we have no entries to consider, no winners to celebrate and no prizes to be awarded for 2023 from our June 15th-June 30th, 2023 children’s coloring contest. This may be our last one for a few years. We will evaluate whether to renew this contest for the future. However, as always–we encourage you to keep reading, imagining, and creating with the children in your families!

Children’s Coloring Contest Rules and RegulationS:

1. This is a children’s coloring contest, encouraging the coloring skills and creativity of child entrants ages 5-years through 13-years of age and chance plays no part in the determination of winning. We hope you will have fun participating in this contest with your parent/legal guardian’s permission and possibly the support of an adult family member/teacher/caregiver.
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your odds of winning.
3. Contest is open to children, ages 5-years old to 13-years as of June 30th, 2023 old living within in the continental USA. 
4. Contest begins June 15, 2023 at 12:01 AM (MST) and ends June 30, 2023 at 11:59 PM MST.
5. To enter, print out the official MMinJ 2023 coloring entry page the child entrant wants to color from the contest page of our blog site, WHAZZUP, CILLYart? blog (https://cillyart4u.wordpress.com) or from an official email from our sponsor, CILLYart or CILLYart4U. Then have the child entrant/participant color it in using any medium this child would like to color/decorate his/her mermaid/merman youth. Do a high quality scan your your child’s/each child’s (families often have more than one one qualifying child-entrants) entry  to: mermaid.moon.in.june.contest@proton.me with subject line “MMinJ-2023 entry!”  Each entry must be in the child’s first name, last name initial, age (at time of entry), and child’s city and state of residence in the continental USA. Entry must also include the full name of the child’s parent or legal guardian, resident address, telephone number for text notification for clarifications only and current email address. Entry must be submitted in English. Any entries missing the above information requirements will be immediately disqualified. A teacher, caregiver, or other supportive adult family member (grandparent, aunt/uncle, sibling or cousin), may help child entrant and their parent/legal guardian in this contest submission. If printing the official coloring page off this blog site proves difficult, again you may request this coloring page to be emailed to you at: mermaid.moon.in.june.contest@proton. with CEPR (coloring entry page request) listed as the subject line!
6. Each entry must be received by CILLYart4U no later than 11:59 PM MST on June 30, 2023 by email at: mermaid.moon.in.june.contest@proton.me
7. Shipping information collected of participants will be used for this contest’s purpose in the shipping and delivery MERMAID MOON in JUNE contest prizes. Participant addresses also help to verify/qualify participants for contest entry.
8. Limit one (1) entry per child, but adult parents, teachers, caregivers or family members may help multiple children in their family, home or classroom to enter this contest as well.
9. All entries must be coloring entirely created by the child entrant. There are no restrictions on what artistic media a child entrant can use to color the image as long as it is safe for them to handle and respectful (no crude or rude pictures, words, symbols, etc, but the artwork entered must be submitted as a high quality scan or photo. Winning artwork will be used to create winners’ T-shirts.
10. Entries will be judged by CILLYart4U based on creativity, coloring skill and overall artistic ability according to ages 5 to 13 years years old. Child entrants in each age group (5-7, 8-10, 11-13 years old) will be considered and winners determined by CILLYart4U judges in their sole discretion. The decisions of the judges will be final and binding in all respects.
11. Only one Grand Prize/first place winner will be selected overall and at least one (1) second winner  and at least one (1) third place winner from the qualifying age group (5-13 years old as of June 30th, 2023) will be selected on or about July 1-15, 2023, depending on the amount of entrants. We will contact selected winners by email by July 15, 2023. The first name, last name’s initial letter, city and state of each winner will be posted on the WINNERS posting of the WHAZZUP, CILLYart? blog site (https://cillyart4u.wordpress.com) on or about July 15, 2023.
12. Prizes will be awarded to each child winner via their parent/legal guardian by CILLYart4U/Brindy Books.
13. GRAND/First Prize: (one Grand/First Prize winner only) TWIN TAILS Trilogy Book Set ($50 retail value/RV) or MERMAIDEN & Fantastical Friends coloring book trilogy ($35 RV), T-shirt with GRAND/First Prize winner’s MMinJ-2021 entry art ($25 RV), and a child/youth size MERMAID LINDEN Monofin ($50 RV) if available at contest end (some periods of unavailability have occured since the onset of COVID-19 crisis, etc. If this  prize is not available, winner can select one of the following: a MER-folk backpack or a MER-folk beach towel or  MER-Folk leggings or another CILLYart4U possible option given, if available. Up to $175 USD in retail value or RV, and includes free shipping). 
14. Second Prize: TWIN TAILS Trilogy Book Set or or MERMAIDEN & Fantastical Friends coloring book trilogy set, and a T-shirt with winner’s MMinJ-2021 entry art (up to $75 USD in RV plus free shipping per winner).
15. Third Prize: One TWIN TAILS Trilogy Book of choice or one MERMAIDEN & Fantastical Friends coloring book of choice, and a T-shirt with winner’s MMinJ-2021 entry art (up to $45 USD in RV plus free shipping per winner).  
16. Non-compliance or non-response within 24 hours of contest winner selection notification or return of winner notification as undeliverable by email will result in disqualification of that selected winner and initiate the selection of an alternative winner, if available.
17. CILLYart4U may substitute prizes of equal, similar or greater value, but no cash will be awarded instead of CILLYart4U prizes. In the event of insufficient entries, unavailability of prizes to be awarded, a winner or winners may not be chosen for an ages 5-13 years or a prize category.
18. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
19. Prizes will ship to out child winners upon readiness of prize order from suppliers in or about the month of July-August 2023. Prizes may be shipped separately from different manufacturing/store locations.
20. All entries become the property of CILLYart4U and may be used or reproduced in any manner and for any purpose by CILLYart4U without additional consent or compensation, and will not be acknowledged or returned.
21. By participating, contest entrants: (1) represent that they have complied with these official CILLYart4U “Mermaid Moon in June-202e” Contest Rules; (2) have received parental/legal guardian consent and appropriate adult participatory support, and grant CILLYart4U the right to use the child winner’s first name and initial of last name, city, state, and likeness of any photos shared, (3) release CILLYart4U and Brindy Books from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, and (4) agree to execute an affidavit of eligibility/prize acceptance form and publicity release if requested to do so, all without further compensation.
22. CILLYart4U and Brindy Books are not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, or incomplete/incorrect entries.
23. CILLYart4U and Brindy Books reserve the right to disqualify anyone who attempts to tamper or otherwise interfere with the proper functioning of this contest/promotion.
